The map theme is the life of the indigenous people before the arrival of Europeans. The names of tribes are given, along with several paragraphs about the tribes - their culture, hardships, settlements, ways of life and personalities. Along the left, right and bottom edges are stylized color illustrations of North American Indians, with their tribes and noteworthy characteristics listed below. At the bottom of the poster are color illustrations of canoes, with their names/materials above or below and text at the bottom of the group of canoes explaining their importance and use in North American Indian societies. The map depicts how various indigenous people lived, hunted, built canoes and produced food prior to European arrival.  This map comes with a white border around the image --------------------------- -How are the prints shipped?
